• Character Description - A short, heavy-set woman, with coal-black hair and startlingly intense blue eyes, Deria Ceznare just manages to avoid the bold, typically Saldaean nose, although her eyes are sharply angled, and her cheekbones high and sharp enough to shave ice. Deira Sedai wears a refined gown in a modified Borderlander style, cut from shimmering satin, cornflower blue, with a high neckline and divided skirts. Intricately layered and overlapping embroidery in green and silver thread covers her shoulders and upper bodice, to either side of the sharp, triangular neckline, and more coils around the hems of her skirts. The high collar is edged with snowy white Tuvain lace, and more trims the cuffs on the long, narrow sleeves. Deira's fingers are heavily beringed with emeralds and sapphires, nearly obscuring her Great Serpent ring. Estimating her age is no mean feat, as her figure looks matronly and in her middling years, yet her face is taut and unlined around her wise, experienced eyes. Soft velvet slippers cover her feet, and a silver-belt knife with a large opal in the hilt gleams at her hip. Deira wears a long manteau of exquisite dove-gray linen over dress in deference to the humidity and heat of Illian, although as an Aes Sedai she seems unaffected by both. The manteau is intricately embroidered in light blue thread around the edges in swirling, squarish scrolls.
