• Character Summary - An Andoran Blue, Lewella Brehon is a close associate of Dianys Mathenos, and is believed to be her right-arm woman, so to say. Lewella Sedai is a genial woman, who quickly puts people at ease with her warm, maternal style. Lewella is one of Aloris’ oldest protégés, and many of the Blues snipe, covertly, that she was ‘attached’ to Dianys by Aloris Cadrille to keep tabs on her. Lewella Sedai has one warder, Jayme Corindeos, a spectacularly handsome Illianer swordsman.

• Character Description - Solidly assembled, with a full bosom and a thick waist, Lewella Brehon seems little more than a good-hearted Andoran matron, but for her curiously ageless complexion, revealing her true status as an Aes Sedai. She wears a simply cut gown of soft wool, dyed a deep night blue, with neat trims of Aerine lace at the cuffs and around the high neck. The dress is worked with silver embroidery, making out rosebuds and leaves down the sleeves and in bands around the hems of her divided skirts and over her breasts. Her dark hair is interrupted by sprays of silver at her temples, and is worn coiled into an intricate bun at the nape of her neck, pinned by an ornament shaped like a butterfly, made of gold and nacre. Similarly, she wears a large broach in the same style and shape in the center of her bosom, and they are believed to be ter'angreal.

• Aloris Cadrille: an Aes Sedai of the Blue Ajah. The reserved and secretive First Counselor of the Blue Ajah, Aloris Cadrille's position is one of the most closely held secrets in the White Tower. Long regarded as one of the most esteemed sisters of the White Tower, she has never held a public position of authority, but still has mastery of Whiter Tower politics, despite her near-cloistered existence. Born to Cairhienin merchants in the town of Selean, along the Silk Path, nearly one hundred and seventy years ago, Aloris was generally assumed, by the Tower at large, to be a rather unexceptional sister, although albeit a very intelligent one. The exact timing of her installation as First Counselor is unknown, but believed to be within the last ten years. Aloris is suitable effective speaker, yet only moderately strong in the Power, and has still managed to attain respect and stature through long years of wise counsel and initiative. Lewella Brehon is one of Aloris’ oldest protégés.
