• Character Summary - Belligerent and rambunctious, Valizia is a close companion of Cetreise a'Sorhen of the Blue Ajah, and a powerful Blue Sister. The daughter of a prominent Saldaean general, she is taken to martial pursuits and is a masterful player of Stones. Valizia has completed two generous terms as the Councillor for the Tower on Tar Valon's High Council. Early in her career, she was a protege of the mysterious Osmad Azil, a senior Domani Blue sister, who remains her absentee benefactress.

• Character Description - Strapping and tall as most men, Valizia Tezhere bears the distinct mark of Saldaea on her pale countenance, with a presumptuous nose, and sharp cheekbones, and a pair of tilted eyes the color of jade. Her hair is jet black, sleek and glossy, worn in a fall past her shoulders, and long enough for her sit on. Valizia wears a riding dress of smoke colored silk, with embroidered kestrels in silver and blue all along the bodice and in a narrow band at her hems. A collar of pale Merada lace frames her high, sweeping neckline, and more trims her tight cuffs. She wears heeled riding boots in black leather, and matching gauntlets are tucked behind her belt in the small of her back. A thick bladed knife in a suede sheath hangs on her hip, with a Saldaean Cat's Eye gleaming in its hilt. Valizia wears small golden rings at her ears, and her great Serpent shines brightly on her hand. A thick mantle of deep blue velvet, edged with sables, is thrown across her shoulders. She moves with the vigor of a young woman, and affects a carefree mien, yet her green eyes are sorrowful and knowing, a look none acquire in youth. It is difficult to suggest an age to her, at all.

• Cetreise a'Sorhen: Murandian by birth, and a Blue with a disreputable past, she has the Foretelling, manifesting itself through needlework , the resulting pieces kept securely among the most prized records of the Tower. Recently returning from a lengthy penance, Cetreise was known to be a bitter foe of the last Amyrlin Elsbedhe Bodwell. She is believed to have had many penances in her past, and she is despised by most of the Red Ajah, which some believe stems from her possible aid to a channeling man in Illian some years ago. Cetreise has again taken to a lengthy retreat from public affairs in a bout of ill-health brought about by the spate of Foretellings she produced. Recently, however, she was seen in the thick of the battle outside the Shining Walls astride one of her pair of fierce destriers, Champion, but upon a clandestine return to the Tower, her activities have been unknown.
• Osmad Azil: An extremely senior Blue of Domani heritage, Osmad Azil keeps her figure as trim and fit as an woman a fourth her age, and she tends to her complexion with an astounding array of unguents and creams. In truth, the only sign of her great age is her silver, shining hair, which she wears loose and flowing. Osmad was once seriously considered for the Seat, but she waved off the notion, and proceeded to leave Tar Valon without tidings for fifteen years. During her time in the Tower, she was an early mentor of Sasha Sedai, and remained an absentee benefactress.
