Character Description - A young Amadician woman, newly raised to the shawl, recently enough that she has not yet acquired the ageless countenance of her sisters, Marande Belora is not quite beautiful, but her eyes dazzle with wit, and she effects a sleek, elegant style that draws the eye, in itself unusual for a Brown sister. Marande wears smartly tailored dress is copper-colored satin, with a high, snug bodice, with rows of swirling embroidery in argent thread down the front, and matching work in rings at her cuffs and hems. The collar is lined with frothy Bevaire lace, and a large oblong topaz glistens at the hollow of her throat, hanging from a shining brown ribbon. Marande's hair is a deep, glossy brown, and worn in a sleek cut, parted over one eye, and falling to just about shoulder's height, and held by a pair of silver barrettes. Her only other adornment is her Great Serpent ring worn proudly on her left hand. Heeled slippers of matching satin peek from under her hems.
