• Character Description - A slender woman with large dark eyes and shining brown hair, Audney al'Baldir seems to be a young woman, near twenty and two years of age. Her dark hair is worn in a thick braid pulled over one shoulder, laced through with red ribbons. Audney wears an austere dress, seemingly made in her native style, yet cut from wine-colored silk. A snugly tailored kirtle, revealing a partlet of fresh linen at the open neck and at the cuffs, embroidered with dainty embroidery making out small scarlet flowers. Matching embroidery swoops over her bosom in a doubled band on the bodice, and along the hems of the divided skirts. The costliness of the attire is odd until one notes that Audney wears a ring in the shape of a serpent biting its own tail and realizes that she appears to be an Aes Sedai, and newly made one at that. Audney wears a cape of fine, soft wool, a deep crimson and lined with silvery-white minniver over the dress. A golden broach, wrought into the shape of leaping fawn, fastens the cape over dress. A wide belt of fine Tairen leather is taught around her waist, supporting her purse and a stolid, sensible workman's knife.
