• Character Summary - A slim, fey Cairhienin from the easterly town of Selean, Soliane Delovain was expecting nothing more from her life than taking over her mother's seamstress shop when it was time. A chance arrival by a party of travelling Red sisters, hunting channeling men, revealed her potential as a woman who could touch the Power, and before three nights had pass, Soliane found herself practically lashed to the back of a horse, travelling north to Tar Valon with legendary Red Sister Diseyne ti Tsanmallen. Soliane is a staunch supporter of Diseyne Sedai, and is known to accompany her on many covert forays into the field. She is a shrewd and diabolical plotter.

• Character Description - Delicate and slender as a blade of grass, Soliane Delovain has the milk-pale complexion of a Cairhienin woman, and long silky hair as black as pitch. Her watchful eyes are an uncommon grey color, and her face is refined and lovely. She wears a starkly cut gown of dark crimson wool, high necked and long sleeved, sewn with scarlet and white embroidery on the cuffs and hems in a miniscule pattern, making out lover's knots and Elenore's fancy. She wears a single ruby pinned to her bodice, hanging from a clasp in silver making out a falcon in flight. Her hair is worn loose and flowing, and small silver rings shine at her ears. She is not wearing her Great Serpent ring.
