• Character Description - A slim and dignified woman, Carmara Belantes is Tairen born, with a wood dark skin tone and large brown eyes that are smoldering with cognition and memory. Her hair has gone pure white, which among Aes Sedai means she is utterly ancient, and her taut, ageless complection is paper thin. Standing in a gown of ivory silk, with a high neckline, long narrow sleeves and sweeping skirts, cut in the formal High Tairen style, with puffed sleeves and a stiffened ruff of immaculate Merucia lace, she appears reminscent of some legendary queen of winter. The dress is worked with silver thread on the bodice and skirts, and sewn with pearls and moonstones. Her snowy hair is worn in a neat braided corona ‘round her head, dotted with large glistening diamond tipped pins, a rare and extravagant array! Her only other piece of jewelry is her Great Serpent ring, seemingly cumbersome on her delicate hand. She wears her formal shawl, richly worked in leaves and vines, with long silky fringe as pristine as freshly fallen snow.
