Ethaine Greentree

• Position - Aes Sedai of the White Ajah.
• Character Summary - A young sister from Andor, Ethaine is a close friend of Simoene Alvaewhin, her Ajah sister, and rather excitable for a White. Ethaine is notorious for her sulks and tantrums, and in her time as an Accepted, spent many months at Tower owned farms as punishments. Ethaine is beleived to be the daughter of a failed Accepted, but she will not speak of it.

• Character Description - A genial, and rather chubby, young woman, Ethaine Greentree speaks with the accent and idiom of the Baerlon region of Andor. Her auburn hair is worn loose and free, kept from her eyes by a riband of embroidered white velvet. Ethaine wears a traveling dress of pale gray velvet, with a wide square neck revealing a parlet of fresh white linen, embroidered in silvery thread. Ethaine's bright blue eyes sparkle with humor, and her smile is sincere and pleasing. Ethaine's position as an Aes Sedai is revealed by her Great Serpent ring shining on one hand, and the snowy teardrop of the Flame of Tar Valon sewn on the left breast of her mantle of charcoal velvet, itself lined with silky ermine. A slim belt snugs across her midriff, worked in silver, supporting her belt-knife and pouch.

• Simoene Alvaewhin: A young Cairhienin White, Simoene was given a rigorous education by her father, a tutor to the wealthy in Cairhien, prior to arriving in Tar Valon. She was discovered by Suraya Ashalde of the White Ajah, after she fled her home after a scandal to preserve her father's reputation. While an Accepted, she was an attendant to Jiranya Tansaya, the elderly former First Reasoner, who is beleived to have placed in her hands a ‘secret legacy' as she lay dying. She is a well-traveled sister, close with many Browns, with a hobby of collecting artifacts and interviewing scholars in the Great Cities, earning her the derision of her more stationary and sedate sisters of her own Ajah. She is currently stationed in Caemlyn at the Amyrlin's direction. She and Ethaine are fast friends amongst the sisters of their Ajah.
