Character Description - A small, fey woman, with clear white skin and large, lucid eyes of pale blue, Lisane Andril is deceptively youthful, for her lack of stature as well as for her boyishly slim figure. Her dress is cut from soft blue velvet, with a wide, round neckline that is trimmed with fine Merucia lace. Small buttons of carved ivory make a neat display down her bodice. The full skirts are split to reveal a chemise of cream-colored satin, and the puffed sleeves are slashed with cream satin as well. The youngest daughter of a simple swineherd from Ghealdan, Lisane prides herself on her regal appearance, and affects a haughty air about her. A small cap of blue lace, sewn with small blue crystals, is worn atop her blonde head, with the rest hanging long and straight midway down her back. Lisane Sedai wears a sumptuous cloak of white lynx pinned over her dress, fastened by a large broach, an intricately worked rose in beaten silver.

Calandrin is one of the most capable Healers in the Tower, and administers several dispensaries in poorer wards of Tar Valon for those too fearful of entering the White Tower itself, and she has extensive knowledge of the ailments and conditions of pregnant women and infants.
