Maregaine Oseillin

• Position - Aes Sedai of the White Ajah.
• Character Summary - An extremely senior White sister, Maregaine Oseillin is among the most powerful of the Aes Sedai, and was among the many worthy sisters sent into exile upon the ascension of Elsbedhe Bodwell. In Maregaine's case, however, it had more to do with the fact that she was a rival candidate for the Seat itself.

• Character Description - Slim and extremely dainty, the Cairheinin-born Maregaine Oseillin is short even for her diminutive countrywomen. Her milk-toned skin is uncreased with age yet looks so thin and sheer that it my tear at a puff of wind and her once raven-colored hair is snowy white, pulled into a tightly wound and intricately rolled bun. Maregaine wears a dress of soft dove-grey velvet, with long bell-shaped sleeves and a high neckline. A small, rigidly starched ruff of pristine Solinde lace encircles her slender throat, and more lace sheathes her narrow forearms within the loose sleeves. Maregaine seems encumbered by the coiled ropes of small, exquisite pearls looped around her neck, and large tear-drop shaped pearls weigh heavily on her ears. Her large, appraising eyes are black as pitch, and her small mouth is often in a moue of contemplation. She wears a pelisse of the finest silky white sables over her dress, pinned at her shoulders by small silver broaches.
