Character Description - A serene and attractive woman, Arella Diomon is a sister of the Yellow Ajah, born of Illian. Her skin is pale, but warmed by southern suns, and her hair is glossy black, so dark as to shine with blue highlights, although here and there, a sprinkle of white is apparent. Her eyes are limpid spheres of dark blue, alive with intelligence and her mouth is plump and well-made, tinted with just hint of cherry-paste. Arella is not tall, yet she is full-bodied and well-proportioned, and she carries herself with a high dignity indeed. Arella Sedai wears a dress from warm golden-brown satin, cut in the Illianer style, with a wide, open neckline and hems stopping short of her ankles, with detailed embroidery in thread-of-gold making out leaves and acorns around the neckline, down her sleeves and in a band around her skirts. A fine cloak of soft saffron-colored wool is pinned on her shoulders like a chlamys, held by a broach fashioned into an oak leaf, wrought from beaten gold. A sheer diaphanous scarf of white voile is worn about her dark head, wrapped about her neck and tucked into the neckline of her dress. Her hair is pinned neatly within the scarf, although an incorrigible curl has escaped and hangs over one eye. Her face is clearly that of an Aes Sedai, with a seeming youthful complexion that belies her true age, inexplicably accompanied by wise eyes no woman acquires young. Bright accents of gold gleam here and there about her person, especially her Great Serpent ring, prominent on her hand.
