• Character Summary - With her red-brown hair and blue eyes, Aniah can be nothing other than a young Aielwoman, for all that she was raised by Sheinaran farmers in the Aiel Marches. Her origins before that are a mystery, and the Amyrlin herself has decreed that she is to be unmolested as Aniah studies as a novice of the White Tower, and has tasked Rasuna Bayani of the Green Ajah with taking a personal interest in her progress.

• Rasuna Bayani: Notorious even among her sister Greens for her volatile temperament, Rasuna is a darkly beautiful Arafellin, with long black hair and snapping dark eyes. Rasuna is the daughter of a ranger and woodsman in the forests of Soldana, and she is skilled and woodcraft and tracking, as well as being a masterful huntress. Rasuna has a cadre of novices and Accepted who admire and emulate her, for all that she spends virtually no time in the Tower, dabbling in world affairs like a Blue. A protégé of Tianan Tanches, Rasuna often completes secret errands for the Sitter. Word has it that Rasuna has the ability to see ta'veren, and she does seem to have taken note in Aniah. Rasuna is bonded to three warders, each of whom is believed to be her lover. She and Leryin are less than one month apart in age, they became friends from their time as Accepted together.
