Almaya ibn Sahudaan

• Full Name - Almaya Capriza ibn Sahudaan Aes Sedai
• Position - Aes Sedai of the Red Ajah.
• Character Summary - A slender, vicious Red Sister, she is born of the wily House Sahudaan of Tarabon, and is known to be treacherous and full of venom to those who earn her enmity. She stays close to Damara, however, because she envies her influence and clout.

• Character Description - Very slender and quite tall, Almaya ibn Sahudaan almost seems to have a sinuous figure, flexible as a reed, with long narrow arms and thin, dextrous hands. Her hair is a golden blonde, worn in a myriad of tiny braids, each tipped with bezels of opals and firedrops, swaying slightly with her movements. Almaya would be a lovely-enough woman, with a heart-shaped face, high cheekbones and a plump, pouty mouth, but her hooded hazel eyes seem set just a tad too far apart for true beauty. Almaya Sedai is richly attired in a gown of deep vermilion silk, in the style of Tarabon, her homeland, the thin fabric clinging to her hip, breast and thigh, and sewn with beads of amber and pearl, cursive serpents sprawling in a border at the hems and cuffs. Golden lace from Tuvain frame her hands and chin, and she wears heavy torque in the shape of two twined snakes on her neck, one gold, the other platinum, the ruby-eyed heads confronting each other in the hollow of her throat. The torque was a gift from her father, long dead Lord Hasaf, the High Seat of House Sahudaan. Almaya Sedai wears a loose, flowing pelisse of sheer white voile, shroud-like, slightly obscuring her inflammatory attire, but concealing naught, which is embroidered at its edges in scarlet thread, carrying the serpentine motif further. Almost lost amongst all the snakes is her Great Serpent ring, bright yellow gold on her hand. Almaya speaks in a breathy, slightly raspy tone, and has a slight lisp.

• Damara Salines: Persuasive and saturnine, Damara Salines stands among the first rank of the Red Ajah, and she is an outspoken critic of the regime of the current Amyrlin. An strongly opinionated Sister, she was recently recalled from her position as the advisor to Queen Breigide of Ghealdan. Originally from Tear's brutal Chalm district, she is a dangerous and unpredictable fighter. Damara was a wilder, and her instructors despaired of her ability to transcend it. She leads a large clique of Red sisters, including Renaeve Emoendred, Jasiro Tengoyin, Almaya ibn Sahudaan and Demethia Hekatheos. Damara is expected to assume a Seat in the Hall before long. She is currently assigned to help govern the conclave of Aes Sedai dispatched to Illian, where she vies for dominance against Rigan a'Vorhan of the Green Ajah.
