• Character Summary - Alanyse Essanteos: A pugnacious, truculent sister of the Red Ajah, Alanyse is Illianer born, and is reknonwed among her sister Reds for her ability to seek and out and cultivate future members of their Ajah from among the Accepted and novices. To that end, she has all but attached herselkf to Madellin Belasien, a young Cairhienin Accepted of impressive potential.

• Character Description - Only moderately tall, yet with a buxom, womanly figure, Alanyse Essanteos has bright eyes of liquid hazel, and softly curled tresses of dark brown, pulled off her round face by a constraining band of scarlet silk, knotted in the nape of her neck, the tasseled ends spilling down her back. A simple, yet refined gown of dark crimson satin marks her as a woman of high station, with skirts that stop well short of her ankles, and a neckline that is slung loosely from her shoulders, revealing generous cleavage. Thread-of-gold is sewn in a pattern of scrolling laurels along her sleeves, along the swoop of her neckline, and in a dual band at her hems. Dainty slippers, gilded and laced with red satin, adorn her feet. A doubled string of golden links and beads of red carnelian is draped across her bosom, and her Great Serpent shines on her finger. Looped over her shoulders is a red-fringed stole, the Flame of Tar Valon worked largely on the back, centered within a disk of crimson.

• Damara Salines: Persuasive and saturnine, Damara Salines stands among the first rank of the Red Ajah, and she is an outspoken critic of the regime of the current Amyrlin. An strongly opinionated Sister, she was recently recalled from her position as the advisor to Queen Breigide of Ghealdan. Originally from Tear's brutal Chalm district, she is a dangerous and unpredictable fighter. Damara was a wilder, and her instructors despaired of her ability to transcend it. She leads a large clique of Red sisters, including Alanyse Essanteos, Jasiro Tengoyin, Almaya ibn Sahudaan and Demethia Hekatheos. Damara is expected to assume a Seat in the Hall before long. She is currently assigned to help govern the conclave of Aes Sedai dispatched to Illian, where she vies for dominance against Rigan a'Vorhan of the Green Ajah.
